Leadership comes in all shapes and sizes it is about guiding and impacting outcomes, making Wanneroo a great place to live. I would work with the community enabling us to work together to accomplish brilliance for the city. In this sense, leadership is something you do, not something you are. I would inspire trust and bring energy to the city. Bringing better outcomes for all, keeping it real and as financially painless as possible. After all we are in a cost-of-living crisis. I am sure we all want the best for our communities, with beautiful suburbs and parks. Community consultation is important but understanding the community is key, getting out and about in the local communities. Local government should not be morphing into state or federal roles. Let’s get back to basics of local government dealing with matters close to our homes, such as good generational development, local roads and footpaths, parks and playing fields, libraries, local environmental issues, and waste disposal.
